An Assistant City

In the game City Empires, the assistant city is second only to the capital city and usually serves as a close ring of advisers. Some nations go as far as to make the assistant cities the capitol appoints, official government members. Generally the three assistant cities are chosen from the most experienced and largest players in a nation, however this is not always the case.

Appointing Assistant Cities

As described in the Capital city section of the game manual, each of the three assistant cities can only be appointed by the capital city himself. As such, the capital city along with the assistant cities form a small official leadership of a nation.

Roles of the Assistant City

The main goal of an assistant city is to approve or deny applications into the nation. When a person applies for membership of a nation they must wait until they are "approved" and officially accepted or denied by the capital city or one of the three assistance cities. For this reason, assistant cities are generally made up of people the capital city trusts and has faith in.
