The Secret Society and Arcadia - MDoAP Treaty: The Arcadian Secrets
Article I. Sovereignty and Non-Aggression
Recognizing the potentially volatile climate of the planet, the sovereign countries of The Secret Society(TSS) and Arcadia, come together to give their consent to the formalization of their respect, trust and expressed comradeship between these two countries. No city of either alliance may attack the other. Should such a situation arise, private channels shall be used, via the Defense Departments of the respective countries.
Article II. Mutual Defense
We work together for the common good of our countries. If either signatory comes under attack, under no fault of their own, then it is considered an act of aggression against the other signatory. As signatories, we are required to defend each other to the death or end of the treaty. If one requires aid in the justifiable defense of his alliance, it shall be given without hesitation. The failure for a signatory body to fulfill their commitment, as agreed upon in this treaty, will result in it becoming immediately void.
Article III. Optional Aggression
Both signatories are encouraged but not obligated to participate in aggressive actions against a third party. If either signatory deems it necessary to engage a third party and wishes to include the other signatory, notice as far in advance as possible is requested. If the requested party feels they are unable to fill the request a reasonable declining response is requested as soon as possible.
Article IV. Communication and Intelligence
A. Any Intelligence relevant to the security, financial, or military status of either signatory will be shared via private channels with proper personnel. The source of said information is required if at all possible, but may be left undisclosed.
B. Both signatories agree to treat each other with respect both in public and private. Members of signatory countries are barred from trolling each other as trolling is in violation of The Secret Society Charter and all treaty partners are requested to show the same respect. Any trolling by TSS members will be swiftly dealt with.
C. Both signatories agree to keep open communication with the other via the respective countries message boards and/or IRC channels.
Article V. Termination
If either signatory wishes to cancel this treaty for any reason, they must first inform the other signatory 72 hours in advance. This treaty shall still remain in effect until the lapse of the 72 hours.
