Citizens of the Imperium and assembled foreign dignitaries, it is my distinct pleasure to announce the ratification and enactment of a new treaty between the Imperium Romanum and Endeavor. With the creation of this Protectorate the citizens may finally rest quietly and without fear for from this moment onwards our empire shall be protected by our dear and loyal friends of Endeavor!

Preamble
The countries of New Horizon (Endeavor) and Imperium Romanum hereby sign this treaty in good faith and hopes to further good relations. This protectorate is of Endeavor to help defend and protect the IR.
Article I Sovereignty
Both New Horizon(Endeavor) and Imperium Romanum shall retain their own standing, and shall not be forced by either party to give up either ones right.
Article II Protection
In case of an aggressive attack against Imperium Romanum from a third party, New Horizon(Endeavor) will come to the defense of Imperium Romanum by all military means, after diplomatic actions are taken, and only if they fail will military help take place. In case of an aggressive attack against New Horizon(Endeavor) from a third party, Imperium Romanum is not required to come to the aid of the New Horizon(Endeavor), but are encouraged to do so if they can.
Article III Aggression
In case New Horizon(Endeavor) wishes to declare war on a third party, they may request military assistance from Imperium Romanum, who are encouraged to help, but not required to help. Article IV Friendship
Both Imperium Romanum and New Horizon(Endeavor) shall show respect at all times, which includes, but not limited to: forums, IRC, Instant messaging. Imperium Romanum will give New Horizon(Endeavor) government members Op status in the official Imperium Romanum channel (#IR), and op status in the New Horizon(Endeavor) IRC channel (#nhpub). New Horizon(Endeavor) will also act as a tutor if need be and help answer and train the Imperium Romanum if Imperium Romanum wishes so.
Article V Aid
In times of war or peace, the Imperium Romanum may ask New Horizon(Endeavor) for assistance in the form of aid. In times of war, New Horizon(Endeavor) is required to help by military means, plus finacial means, just as long as the Imperium Romanum was not the aggressor of the war. If the Imperium Romanum was the agressor, then it is up to New Horizon(Endeavor) whether or not to help, but are urged to help. In times of peace, Imperium Romanum may ask for aid to help build their strength. New Horizon(Endeavor) is strongly encouraged, but not required, to help when they can just as long as the aid is a reasonable amount.
Article VI Intelligence
If either Imperium Romanum or New Horizon(Endeavor) comes across information that is vital to the security of the other, then that party must come forward and present this information.
Article VII Cancellation
This article may be canceled at any time, but it must be requested in the others embassy on the others forum. This pact must be given 96 hours to be finally canceled
Conclusion: This treaty is hereby, by the signatures of the two signatories, written into country law.
